Function Desktop Engineer

As a Senior Desktop Engineer, you will be a key player in our Digital Workplace team, responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical incidents while handling service requests efficiently.
  • Collaborating with other IT departments to ensure seamless cross-functional support.
  • Maintaining and managing the fleet of endpoints, including desktops, laptops, and smartphones.
  • Providing clear, structured documentation and reports for management.
  • Identifying and proposing structural improvements to enhance IT operations.

Profile Desktop Engineer

  • Fluency in French, Dutch, and English.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong expertise in Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with security best practices, such as endpoint protection, encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Proficiency in device management tools (SCCM, Intune).
  • Experience working with Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles and IT service management best practices.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., MD-102, MS-102) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in a 3rd-line desktop engineering role.
