Function Paralegal

We are looking for a Paralegal to support the legal team for our client in Brussels. As a paralegal you will provide administrative assistance in different projects. Communication and linguistic skills are very important in this role: you need to have a good understanding of English and be fluent in French or Dutch. Ideally you already have some experience in the legal field. You provide all kinds of legal administrative support and get in contact with different internal and external parties. Your tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Draft and prepare different legal documents and check for the necessary signatures
  • Support different project around the implementation of digitalization tools, KYC & contractin tool
  • Request legal documents (certificates, attestations etc.) from other institutions (eg. banks, government) and proofread documents.
  • Prepare the annual reports and provide support for the general corporate housekeeping (eg. schedule board meetings and general project meetings)
  • Get in contact with notaries for legal questions around different subjects.

What kind of person are we looking for?

  • You have experience in an administrative position, ideally in the legal field.
  • You have excellent communication skills, fluent in French or Dutch with a good understanding of English. If you are fluent in French you also need to have some knowledge of the Dutch language and vice versa.
  • You are comfortable communicating with different, internal and external, partners.
  • You are a teamplayer and a go-getter who works hard and efficient towards a common goal.
  • You are flexible and able to adapt to a changing environment and to different stages in a project
  • You work efficient and detailed.
  • You are eager to learn about the business processes and business activities.

Have the interviews gone well? Then you will receive a contract proposal from our customer and a new challenge will start for you! We will regularly follow up on you to make sure the job turns out exactly as you expected. And of course we are always there for you if you have questions, comments or concerns.
