Function Desktop Engineer
As a Senior Desktop Engineer, you will be a key player in our Digital Workplace team, responsible for:
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical incidents while handling service requests efficiently.
- Collaborating with other IT departments to ensure seamless cross-functional support.
- Maintaining and managing the fleet of endpoints, including desktops, laptops, and smartphones.
- Providing clear, structured documentation and reports for management.
- Identifying and proposing structural improvements to enhance IT operations.
Profile Desktop Engineer
- Fluency in French, Dutch, and English.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong expertise in Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
- Solid understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with security best practices, such as endpoint protection, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Proficiency in device management tools (SCCM, Intune).
- Experience working with Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Knowledge of ITIL principles and IT service management best practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MD-102, MS-102) are a plus.
- Proven experience in a 3rd-line desktop engineering role.
